A meeting of the of the Lafayette Metropolitan Expressway Commission has been scheduled to reopen discussion on building part of a loop in western Lafayette Parish, which may benefit Elon Musk’s proposed SpaceX rocket launch site in neighboring Vermilion Parish.
Elaine Abell, chairwoman of the commission, has called a meeting for 9 a.m. Sept. 29 in the conference room at the Lafayette Economic Development Authority, 211 E. Devalcourt St. in Lafayette.
