SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY)- In recognition of Try Transit Week, Suffolk Transit will offer fare-free services from Tuesday, September 15 through Saturday, September 19.
Try Transit Week is a statewide initiative that encourages Virginians to explore public transportation and consider transit as an affordable, convenient, and environmentally friendly option for getting around. During the fare-free period, riders can use Suffolk Transit services at no cost, whether traveling to work, appointments, shopping, school, and other destinations.
Suffolk Transit connects riders throughout the City and to regional transportation options across Hampton Roads. Hampton Roads Transit is also offering fare-free service in recognition of Try Transit Week, giving riders additional opportunities to explore public transportation throughout the region…
