MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – Convicted double murderer Jeffrey Lee’s execution is scheduled for Sept. 17.
He was originally set to face the death penalty by nitrogen gas in June. However, the Supreme Court ruled that Alabama could not use nitrogen gas, calling it constitutionally cruel.
Lee is now set to be executed by lethal injection…
