The Broken Arrow City Council agreed Tuesday to spend $650,000 to buy a half-acre parcel of property for future expansion of the Oklahoma Military History Center.
The city opted to use Sales Tax Capital Improvements funds to buy the property at 1201 S. Main St., which was owned by Rogers, Ark.-based Sporleder Investments. The 2026 General Obligation bond series sale this year or next year will include $650,000 for the purchase, which will be used to reimburse the city for the property purchase.
