LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Tenn. — Rock City leaders say new sound data shows the proposed gondola project on Lookout Mountain would operate at noise levels comparable to a quiet neighborhood and quieter than common household appliances.
This follows concerns from nearby residents who fear the project would increase not only noise but traffic in the area.
