‘Significant delays’ caused by crash on US-131 North expected to affect rush hour Wednesday

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Rush hour traffic will experience “significant delays” on Wednesday afternoon in Grand Rapids, as a crash has caused traffic to be reduced to one lane on a portion of US-131 North.

Around 3:35 p.m., the City of Grand Rapids Office of Emergency Management posted on Facebook and said a crash reduced traffic to one lane on US-131 North just south of I-196 near Pearl Street.

The Pearl Street on-ramp to US-131 North was also closed due to the crash…
