Groups of people wearing hoodies and ski masks causing “chaos” in a Chicago suburb during homecoming have sparked a warning from police who said unsuspecting homes are being targeted with everything from eggs to toilet paper to ketchup to detergent pods and more.
In an alert on their Facebook page, Plainfield police said the situation has grown out of hand, specifically in areas around North Plainfield.
“We understand that Homecoming comes with traditions, and we want students to have fun and make memories. But what we are seeing this week has gone well beyond harmless pranks,” the department wrote…
