The Side Door at Dexter’s, a sort of mini food hall next to Dexter’s at 50th and France, is welcoming two new concepts this month.
DaqDaq Korean Fried Chicken and Rose Sushi will both open on Sept. 17 inside the former home of SotaRol at 5005 Ewing Ave. S in Minneapolis. Their arrival comes more than a month after the opening of Lucia’s, the first concept to take root in The Side Door at Dexter’s.
The trio of food counters is the brainchild of Daniel Del Prado’s DDP Restaurant Group, which also runs Dexter’s.
DaqDaq is “inspired by Korea’s Pocha Street stalls and chimaek culture,” according to an email sent to customers. It’ll specialize in double-fried chicken served with “classic sides.”…
