The Batavia Police Department says a bicyclist and a child riding in a bicycle trailer were hurt in a crash with a pickup truck Tuesday evening.
Both the bicyclist and the child were taken to a local hospital. Their injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.
The crash happened at the intersection of First Street and South Water Street after the bicycle and pickup truck collided. The bicycle trailer became lodged near the front of the truck, and the child was removed and given medical care at the scene before being taken to the hospital…
