SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – CoxHealth celebrated the opening of a major expansion to its laboratory services in Springfield, bringing in new technology and robotics designed to streamline testing for patients and doctors.
The upgrade includes new equipment from Siemens along with a robotics line that automates several steps of the testing process, according to Amanda Ritter, administrative director for laboratory services at CoxHealth.
“This is Siemens’ newest and greatest equipment, and with it, we gain a lot of efficiency,” Ritter said. “We gain a lot of ability to perform new types of testing.”…
