SAPULPA, Okla. — Christmas may still be months away, but in Sapulpa, the holiday preparations are already in full swing.
Behind the scenes, volunteers are spending their Wednesday evenings cleaning, repairing and rebuilding the decorations that will eventually transform downtown Dewey Avenue into the Route 66 Christmas Chute.
