Wilmington City Council considering low-income rent assistance program

Wilmington City Council is considering a program it believes will help expand the availability of rental housing for its lower-income residents.

City Councilman Alex Hackett’s ordinance would create a pilot program that would help pay for security deposits and/or first-month’s rental check for prospective renters.
