Delaware State Police are actively investigating a strong-arm robbery that took place Tuesday night in New Castle.
At around 9:20 p.m. on September 15, 2026, troopers were called to the 3000 block of New Castle Avenue after a robbery was reported. According to the preliminary investigation, the victim was waiting at a bus stop when a male suspect walked up and demanded the victim hand over personal property. The suspect then physically attacked the victim and forcibly took the belongings before running from the scene.
