Green Bay zoning change opens more options for Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary’s search for a new home is expanding after the city of Green Bay recently broadened zoning options for animal boarding facilities and shelters.

The zoning change allows more locations in the city to be considered for animal care facilities.

Safe Haven has been without a permanent home since its previous facility’s roof collapsed during a storm. Now, the zoning change gives the nonprofit more locations to consider as it searches for a new building.
