Gregory Moore’s lead defense attorney, Jon Paul Rion, is requesting to be removed from the case.
Rion has asked the court on Sept. 17 for permission to file a motion withdrawing himself for the case under seal, citing sensitive material in the proposed filing. This means Moore’s attorneys want to stop representing him in this case, and are filing their explanation privately because they say it contains sensitive material.
