Baylor might have to wait another week to get quarterback DJ Lagway back from an ankle injury. According to a report from ESPN’s Pete Thamel, the Florida transfer is “considered doubtful” for the team’s game against Louisiana Tech this weekend.
In his absence, backup quarterback Nate Bennett is expected to start his second straight game. Bennett filled in for Lagway last week against Prairie View A&M. On3’s Pete Nakos confirmed Lagway’s status and reports he is on track to make his Big 12 debut next weekend against Colorado.
