Nothing is official until National Signing Day. While five-star wide receiver Jamarin Simmons has been committed to Clemson for several months now, that is not going to stop Jon Sumrall and his Florida Gators from trying to poach him. Simmons revealed to 247Sports’ Tyler Harden that he has been impressed with how well Florida wide receivers coach Marcus Davis has been developing his unit.
“Coach Davis is doing good things with them guys,” Simmons said to Harden. “Dallas Wilson, Vernell Brown [III], them boys doing great things.”
Again, Simmons has been committed to Clemson since May 20. The five-star from Tallahassee is the No. 11 player from Florida, the No. 16 wide receiver in the country, and the No. 94 player in the 2027 class, per the 247Sports Composite. He has 29 offers, but increased interest coming from Florida is something wide receivers coach Tyler Grisham and the rest of the Clemson staff will have to monitor…
