Viewer spots big pile of trash on Rowley Street: City says it had no idea it was there

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A viewer reached out to News10NBC about a huge pile of trash in Rochester’s Park Avenue neighborhood.

The viewer said he saw it while visiting his son on Rowley Street Wednesday. He said cars had to slow down to get around it, and says it’s been there for a few days.

We took his concern to the City of Rochester. A spokesperson told us no one had alerted the city about it, and says clean-outs of rentals should happen on garbage days.

So what should you do if you see something like this? Let the city know by calling 311, or using the 311 app.
