SHREVEPORT, La. — Shreveport officials are considering targeted parity raises for around 400 classified workers identified as among the most underpaid, while separately considering a cost-of-living raise for all employees.
Employees can expect to get notification, if approved, before the end of the year.
Chief Administrative Officer Tom Dark said the city’s personnel rules call for a review of its compensation system about every three years to “try to get some sense of where you stand in the market and to see who’s most underpaid and try to do something about it.”…
