Possible seven-month closure of Madison greenway prompts resident petition

MADISON, Ala. — For some Madison residents, the Bradford Creek Greenway is part of the routine — a place to go for a run, take a walk with the kids, ride a bike or simply get some fresh air.

But that routine could soon be interrupted for about seven months.
