WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Summer’s final four full days will feature sweaty high temps in the upper 80s and lower 90s. Primarily afternoon popup shower and thundershower chances of 10% Friday, 40% Saturday, and 30% Sunday and Monday are worth looking out for.

Fall officially starts Tuesday and, appropriately, a cool fall front will draw daily highs down to the upper 70s and lower 80s for the rest of next week. Expect rain chances to linger, but wane, in this time: 50% Tuesday and Wednesday, 30% Thursday, and 20% next Friday.
