ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WSPA) — A 16-year-old wanted in connection with an Asheville shooting has turned himself in to authorities, police shared Friday.
According to the Asheville Police Department, the shooting took place at a home on Atkinson Street around 3:29 p.m. on April 26.

En route to the scene, officers learned that the victim had been taken to Mission Hospital for treatment by a third party. The victim’s gunshot wound was non-life-threatening, officials said.
