A couple trying to order food at a Florida McDonald’s wound up calling 911 after a stranger’s apparent attempt to get a woman’s attention escalated into death threats and what they believed was the display of a handgun.
The encounter happened Saturday at a McDonald’s on West Oakland Park Boulevard in Oakland Park. The woman told deputies that 29-year-old Jeremiah Williams appeared to be trying to flirt with her or provoke a reaction from her boyfriend, Local 10 reported after reviewing the arrest report.
