State Rep. Lisa Dunkley and Tamarac Commissioner Kicia Daniel will host the first installment of a two-part virtual town hall series focused on property taxes and Amendment 3.
According to Florida Policy Institute, the amendment would increase the homestead exemption, create a pathway to fully eliminate non-school property taxes on homesteads, and reduce the assessment growth cap on non-homesteaded properties.
