A woman was transported to a Boston hospital via medical rescue helicopter on Friday, Sept. 18, with serious injuries after a crash on Old Connecticut Path in Wayland, authorities are saying on social media.
A portion of Old Connecticut Path between Simpson Road and Hawthorne Road was closed as of 1:15 p.m., according to a Wayland Police Department Facebook post. The detour was sending cars to Cochituate Road and Main Street to West Plain Street.
