HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. (WXIX) – Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear, lawmakers, state police and higher education leaders gathered Friday afternoon for a groundbreaking for a state-of-the-art crime lab and medical examiner’s office at Northern Kentucky University, according to the office of the governor.
The Northern Kentucky Regional Medical Examiner’s Office and Kentucky State Police Crime Lab is being constructed at the former Highland Heights Civic Center, which has been vacant since 2008, a news release said.
