Woman seriously injured after hitting barn, concrete wall in Bedford County crash

BEDFORD COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — A Clearville woman was seriously injured after state police in Bedford said she suffered a medical emergency that caused her to crash.

Troopers said the 61-year-old woman was driving a 2012 Suzuki south on Chaneysville Road in Monroe Township Monday, Sept. 7. At 3:51 p.m., the woman left the road when she suffered the medical emergency.

State police noted her car crossed the fog line and hit a barn before it continued south and hit a concrete wall where it finally stopped. The Suzuki had disabling damage from the crash and the woman sustained major injuries…
