MOUNT JOY, Pa. (WHTM) – A Lancaster County park is receiving a $300,000 investment to expand recreational opportunities.
The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources announced the investment at Old Trolley Line Park in Mount Joy Township on Thursday.

The park, which is in its third phase of development, will receive pickleball courts, pedestrian walkways, parking areas, a pavilion, and a boardwalk. Other improvements include ADA access, landscaping, fencing, and stormwater management measures.
“This project will ensure present and future generations are able to experience the natural beauty in Mount Joy Township and we thank this community for prioritizing outdoor recreation and connection to nature,” said DCNR Secretary Cindy Adams Dunn. “The Shapiro Administration is proud to support development of local parks like Old Trolley Line Park to help expand access to nature and to improve the visitor experience.”…
