HENDERSONVILLE, TN — Historic Rock Castle is shifting from quiet lakefront views to two days of bluegrass this month, with a newly renamed festival set for Friday and Saturday, Sept. 25-26. The event, now called Rock Castle Bluegrass Jam, updates a long-running celebration once known as the Folk and Bluegrass Fest.
Organizers say the new name better fits the music being booked this year, which leans heavily into bluegrass. The festival also adds an all-inclusive Castle Grass Pass for guests who want full weekend access to the performances and activities.
The gathering is being positioned as one of the biggest events Rock Castle has hosted, with more performers and schedule details still being released before opening day.
