PENSACOLA, Fla. — A 20-year-old man is charged for a shooting incident in early August at the Pensacola Village Apartments that injured four teen juveniles.
Montarious Pickett of Pensacola was arrested Tuesday on charges of:
- weapon possession by a delinquent
- firing a weapon in public
- culpable negligence (four counts)
The incident happened the night of Aug. 4 at the complex on E Fairfield Drive. Four juveniles — two 16-year-olds and two 17-year-olds — were transported to the hospital with minor injuries after being hit by bullet fragments from a single gunshot that ricocheted.
According to the arrest report, Pickett came out of an apartment and fired an AM-15 rifle into the ground. He then went back inside the apartment, where he left the gun before fleeing the scene…
