The driver of a Toyota sedan in a 2025 fatal collision in Shreveport’s Mooretown area was sentenced to a six-month suspended sentence for first-offense operating a vehicle while impaired after it was determined she did not bear the full fault for the crash.
Victoria Jones, originally booked by Shreveport Police on suspicion of vehicular homicide, entered a plea of guilty this week in Caddo District Court and was sentenced to the maximum parish jail time under Louisiana law. The sentence was suspended, and she will be subject to a one-year probation, probation costs and a $300 fine.
Additionally, Jones must perform 32 hours of community service, complete substance abuse and driver improvement programs and have an ignition interlock device installed on her vehicle…
