BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, La. – Barksdale Air Force Base has lifted a lockdown that was put in place early Friday afternoon following a shooting just outside the base.
Base personnel said that lockdown was unrelated to one put in place earlier this morning because of an active shooter threat. No further details were provided.
