Spokane Cedar Street bus crash review backs STA findings

SPOKANE, Wash. — An outside review of Spokane Transit Authority’s response to the double-decker bus crash on Cedar Street found the agency’s investigation met federal safety requirements.

Reesse Safety Management, a third-party consultant, confirmed the investigation was not deficient. The review also found gaps tied to alert configuration, but it said the new information did not change the final determination.
