Multiple agencies respond to reported drowning at Percy Priest Lake

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — La Vergne and Metro Nashville first responders responded to a reported drowning at Percy Priest Lake Friday night.

According to a spokesperson with the City of La Vergne, crews were dispatched just before 9 p.m. after a person was reported to have gone overboard from a boat into the lake.

La Vergne Fire Rescue crews and La Vergne police officers arrived at the Hurricane Creek Boat Ramp, and LVFR crews sent a board toward Drummond Island. La Vergne Emergency Communications worked with the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency to determine the boat’s location, officials said…
