LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – This weekend will be hot and humid, but then cooler weather will arrive this week and stick around.
Warm Weekend
Temperatures will reach the upper 80s to low 90s today and tomorrow. There has been a foggy start to our Saturday, but skies will clear by midday.
There is a chance of rain this evening, mostly for areas near Mt. Sterling and eastward. A few showers are possible on Sunday evening as well. Other than that, this weekend’s weather will be quiet but humid.
Arrival of Fall
Monday will be slightly cooler, with afternoon highs in the 80s. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely in the late afternoon to evening.
Tuesday is the autumn equinox, and temperatures will fall in line. Afternoon highs will be in the 70s starting on Tuesday, and overnight lows will drop to the upper 50s to low 60s…
