ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – The Historic German House in Rochester will be hosting the 55th annual Turtle Hill Folk Festival on Saturday. Workshops and sing-alongs will be held all afternoon from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
All facilities are wheelchair accessible. This year the meals are being provided by the Historic German House Caterers. All meal tickets for lunch and dinner must be purchased online when you purchase your festival tickets. There will be no food ticket sales at the event. There will be beverages available for sale, including a cash bar during the dinner hour.
“At Turtle Hill, the audience not only gets to see these performers on stage, but also interact with them during workshops and small presentations during the day on Saturday, with many informal opportunities to sing and play music together,” organizers said. “The festival is excited to have members of the Submarine School of music participating in activities again this year. The festival will include the traditional grand finale Saturday night with all of the performers.”…
