Rochester man ticketed for work zone crash on Thruway

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – New York State Police ticketed a man from Rochester after troopers say he caused a crash while traveling on the thruway on Thursday morning in Onondaga County in the town of Van Buren.

Troopers say 38-year-old Steven Garpue Nauhn was traveling through an active work zone in the westbound lane in a Freightliner when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a concrete barrier. According to NYSP, the impact pushed the barrier into the eastbound side of the highway.
