Evictions from permanent supportive housing in The City increased in fiscal year 2025-26 when compared with the prior year, according to a report issued by the Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing earlier this month.
There were 905 eviction notices issued during the 2025-26 fiscal year, down from 1,179 the year prior. But actual evictions between fiscal years 2024-25 and 2025-26 increased by more than 20%, from 154 to 186.
