A 36-year-old St. Louis man died Wednesday morning after jumping from a deck into shallow water at the Lake of the Ozarks, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The incident occurred at 10:37 a.m. Sept. 16 at the 4.8-mile mark of the Gravois Arm in Morgan County.
The patrol reported the man jumped from a deck into shallow water and sustained a head injury. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:50 a.m. by MU Health Care.
