BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — After closing out their headlining tour in celebration of 15 years of their debut record, The Head and the Heart has three festival sets left on the docket for 2026, including day 3 of this year’s Borderland Music and Arts Festival in East Aurora.
On Friday, The Head and the Heart keyboardist Kenny Hensley spoke with WIVB about the band’s upcoming set at this year’s festival. He said the band has a selection of greatest hits to fill their hour-long set on Sunday, and said playing festivals is fun, as they allow for bands to curate setlists in a different manner.

He spoke on celebrating 15 years of the bands self-titled record, which marked their debut release in 2011.
“I was 21 when we started, I’m 38 now,” he said. “It’s been my entire adult life, and it was such a special time when we were first meeting and writing those original songs, not really knowing what would come out of it.”…
