MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police arrested a man who they say robbed four Memphis businesses at gunpoint in just two days.
Lilderek Alexander, 27, was arrested Friday and charged with two counts of aggravated robbery and two counts of attempted aggravated robbery.
The alleged crime spree began at 1:30 a.m. Sept. 14, when a man walked into a Circle K in the 3000 block of Thomas Street, pointed a handgun at an employee and demanded cash. The suspect ran away with $406 from the register.
At 9:28 p.m. the same day, police responded to another robbery attempt at the Family Dollar in the 2300 block of Summer Avenue. The robber allegedly threatened to shoot a store clerk, but didn’t get away with any money that time…
