SUWANEE, Ga. — Jackson State’s golf programs are back in action this week at the Thomas W. Dortch Jr. HBCU Golf Classic at Bear’s Best Atlanta. The event is hosted by the Black College Golf Coaches Association.
On the men’s side, Jackson State will compete against Southern, Chicago State, North Carolina Central, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, and Alabama State. The women’s team faces Delaware State, North Carolina Central, Texas Southern, Southern, Fisk, Chicago State, and South Carolina State.
The golf course is a Jack Nicklaus Signature design. Nicklaus selected 18 holes from his more than 300 courses worldwide to create an exceptional round at Bear’s Best Atlanta.
