Mr. Soundoff Says: Braeden Jackson is a positive story anyone can root for. The former Ankeny Centennial RB got his chance on Saturday and made the most of it against UNI. 11 carries, 125 yards and a TD. He also caught a 24 yard TD pass.
Jackson is a walk-on to the Iowa program, and really his only option out of high school. It was either the Hawkeyes or Iowa Western Juco.
