EDGEMERE, Queens (PIX11) — A teen was fatally shot in the back Monday afternoon at an apartment complex in the Rockaways, according to the NYPD.
The deadly shooting happened around 3:36 p.m. near 51-24 Beach Channel Dr., according to the NYPD. Police say a 14-year-old boy was shot in the back.

He was taken to Cohen Children’s Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to police.
Video posted to Citizen App revealed investigators at the scene scouring the grounds where the shooting occurred.
