NEWPORT, Ky. (WXIX) – Monmouth Street is closed in Newport while crews battle an early-morning house fire.
Flames broke out inside the abandoned residence in the 1700 block of Monmouth Street just before 5 a.m. Tuesday.
Firefighters are fighting the blaze defensively outside instead of going in for safety reasons…
