Following a recent decision to pause large-scale data center proposals, Marion County commissioners convened for a two-hour workshop on Monday to examine the hidden pitfalls of data center development, with commissioners agreeing to lower the county’s large data center threshold from 50 megawatts to 20 megawatts to ensure stricter oversight.
