Saturday, Sept. 19, at the North Carolina Genealogical Society Conference in Raleigh, Mark Pace was awarded the Helen F. M. Leary Award for Outstanding Contribution to North Carolina Genealogy.
The award recognizes an individual whose longtime genealogical contributions have greatly enhanced the study of family history in North Carolina and the region.
