NORTHBOROUGH – Sixteen years ago, Michelle Cilley and Allie Lane, both members of the Northborough Recreation Department, worked together on a grant to found the Northborough Community Gardens, a “slice of heaven” along Valentine Road where residents can plant, nurture, and grow plants.
Lane is no gardener, so she counted on Cilley’s green thumb to develop the project.
