A beer and live music are an indisputable pairing, according to Kemet Coleman, who’s both a well-known musician and a brewery co-founder.
It’s part of the reason why he opened Vine Street Brewing Co. in Kansas City’s historic jazz neighborhood, 18th & Vine, in 2023 as Missouri’s first Black-owned brewery.
“We saw how (the pairing) builds community,” Coleman said.
