BALTIMORE, Md. — A 42-year-old Owings Mills man was sentenced Tuesday in federal court to three years in prison for his involvement in a Baltimore-area cocaine trafficking operation.
U.S. District Judge Matthew J. Maddox ordered Adrian Jackson to serve three years in federal prison followed by four years of supervised release. The sentence follows an investigation by the Homeland Security Task Force into a local drug trafficking organization distributing cocaine.
According to court records, the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Federal Bureau of Investigation launched an inquiry into the ring in fall 2022. Law enforcement used court-authorized wiretaps to intercept phone conversations where Jackson and co-conspirators relied on coded language to coordinate narcotics sales, set up distribution meetings, and collect cash proceeds.
